Recipe: Bourbon Sidecar
A sidecar is typically made with brandy or cognac. But, it can also be made with bourbon or gin.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Bourbon
- .5 oz Grand Marnier
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- Sugar for Rim
Combine the ingredients in a shaker (with the exception of the sugar for the rim). Add ice, and shake.
Wet the rim of your glass with water or lemon juice and twist the rim into a plate of sugar.
Pour the drink through a strainer into the glass. Typically, this is served up, but can also be enjoyed on ice.
Tip: We tried super fine sugar, but it just runs down the glass. So, use regular sugar and it'll be tasty!
